Kinja'd!!!

It was almost Black Tuesday today, until I found that red Dart GTS. So if you hate red or hate Oppo Themed days you can blame me. This was today's other option.

I would like to go home now.

Redline tires are valid, as are details in hood side-vents.

The redlines look perfect on it.

I got this close to buying a 1969 Dodge Dart 318 as a first car in 2006 (before I'd arranged to keep the Tipo). Dude wanted 7000 for it, which wasn't all bad, considering the car needed work, but was streetable. Too bad he'd later throw another 20 thousand at that price when we showed interest.

A shame, it was a pretty neat car. Factory bright blue, rust free, black vinyl top, bench seat, 318 V8, three on the tree, busted rear suspensions.

I'm really dying to get a classic Dart/Demon now. The prices on decent runners are still pretty reasonable.

What?! So it was like...

"Here's my car for sale, I'm asking $7,000."

"OK great, I'm interested in looking at it."

"OK, no problem. The price is $27,000."

Something along those lines?

Yep, kinda like that. It was advertised for 7 thousand, when we went to look at it, it was 7 thousand but, as soon as we called it a possibly good deal, "undisclosed fees" raised the price for 27 thousand.

We joked the seller was charging for nostalgia and left, with him cussing at us.

Did you wait the full hour for that?

hahaha, yeah, sat there and waited.

In reality, I stumbled across this at 5.01 and figured it was a great time for a smart ass reply.
